The Congrès Mondial Acadien in 2004

The Acadians of Nova Scotia welcomed their cousins from the world over during the 3rd Congrès Mondial Acadien in 2004. This celebration was very special as it commemorated the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the french in the territory that became known as Acadie!

Of course the descendants Michel Boudrot took part in the celebrations. Boudreau's from Isle Madame in Cape Breton welcomed close to 1,500 descendants of Michel Boudrot and Michelle Aucoin on August 4, 5 and 6th for a grand Reunion of the Boudreau.

Congratulations to Josette Marchand and her team for organizing a truly memorable Reunion!
