The 2nd International Boudreau (Boudreault, Boudreaux) Reunion was held on August 13 & 14, 1999, as part of the Congrès Mondial Acadien, in New Iberia, a city of around 70,000 located about 20 minutes south of Lafayette. Approximately 1,000 descendants of Michel Boudrot got together to celebrate and study their genealogy. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| There were Boudreau's from seven provinces and 25 states at the celebartion. The participants who came from the furthest locations were from Rome, Italy and Kuwait City in Kuwait!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
